denton texas website design and content
I have noticed a marked increase in traffic flow to-and-from YouTube in the last eighteen months, and if you consider everyone’s ability to stream video I think the reason is obvious. We can finally watch video without those frustrating pauses and glitch loading symbols popping up every few seconds!
Not only are YouTube videos a huge bonus to your traffic, video is finally emerging as the most powerful force to get your information, about products, or whatever it is you’re about, out to the masses in the most informative way possible.
This revolution is well underway, but beware, bad video is like a horrible local auto, or carpet, or plumber commercial; people will turn away like the final second of a car crash. And they won’t come back if they don’t have to.
Above is a video I recently completed for Richard Davis, a professor at the University of North Texas, for his website Richard Davis Sculpture.
Not only do videos inform, they are also a valuable design element, and should always say something that your words – YOUR CONTENT – does not say. If they are creatively entertaining, you will be rewarded even more.
